Things To Do In The Area

Grab a bite to eat!

Visit Red’s Eats and get one of their famous lobster rolls!

Don’t feel like waiting in that super long line? Try Sprague’s Lobster just across the street, on the wharf.

For a more sit down experience Sarah’s Cafe is also across the street from Red’s Eats. Yes, there is a theme here and its that some of the best places to eat in Wiscasset exist in some sort of food Bermuda triangle.

Just need coffee and a snack? Stop in at Treats and sip an espresso while you browse the wine selection and take a moment to appreciate the fancy-pants atmosphere of Hannah’s old summer job workplace.

Make a Trip of It!

Perhaps you have decided to spend some extra time in the area while you are up this way? There are a variety of fun things to do and see in the Midcoast area, and although a lot seasonal attractions will be closed by October 20, there is still fun to be had. If you love antiques, Wiscasset has 20+ antique shops to keep you busy, or browse Rock Paper Scissors  for cute stationary. If you like fall foliage, almost any road will give you a beautiful view. If you have a few extra days, consider some of the following options:
